Mr. Vusmuzi Masilela - CA(SA), FP(SA)

Vusmuzi is a qualified chartered accountant and a seasoned forensic auditor with a combined experience of over 18 years in auditing and forensic accounting. Prior to establishing Ngidi Business Advisory, Vusmuzi was a Forensics Partner at SizweNtsalubaGobodo (SNG). He was also the Specialist Forensic Accounting Leader, a highly specialized Forensics solution he pioneered and successfully used as a vehicle to distinctively position himself in the market as a highly esteemed and renowned thought leader in this field. In his previous professional life, Vusmuzi was a Senior Forensics Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc (PwC), after having joined the firm in January 2002 and completed his articles with the firm.

Vusmuzi is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the Institute of Commercial Forensic Practitioners (ICFP) and Association of Black Accountants of Southern Africa (ABASA) . He has led and directed numerous Specialist Forensic Accounting Investigations, Fraud and Corruption Investigations, Forensics Due Diligence Reviews, Probity Reviews, amongst other engagements, on behalf of both public and private sector clients. He has extensive experience in delivering the aforesaid and other related solutions across a spectrum of industries including in financial services, aviation, transport and logistics, energy and mining, telecom and public sector industries. He has conducted various forensic accounting investigations outside of the country including in Swaziland, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria and Pakistan, amongst other countries. Vusmuzi has testified as an expert in Court and Arbitration processes on many occasions and has, overtime, drafted and published various Specialist Forensic Accounting thought leadership material which attracted significant popularity and public interest
